ProSonus Ensemble is a unique chamber music formation on the Polish musical scene, founded by distinguished Polish artists – soloists, chamber musicians and respected professors of leading music academies. The ensemble consists of Wojciech Koprowski and Oriana Masternak (violins), Maciej Strzelecki (viola/violin), Adam Krzeszowiec (cello), Piotr Lato (clarinet), Piotr Sałajczyk (piano), and Maciej Zimka (accordion) – artists with strong and distinctive artistic personalities, extensive performing careers and their own recognizable interpretative voices.

Each musician brings to the ensemble an individual artistic path – shaped on major concert stages, through collaborations with renowned conductors and ensembles, numerous recordings, and pedagogical work. It is precisely the sum of these diverse and mature artistic personalities that defines the exceptional character of ProSonus Ensemble – an ensemble built not on compromise, but on creative dialogue and the partnership of ideas.

A distinctive feature of the ensemble is its original artistic concept: ProSonus Ensemble functions as a permanent group of musicians performing in flexible configurations – from duo to septet. This flexibility offers almost unlimited possibilities for shaping programs, timbre and sonic texture, while allowing the ensemble to move freely beyond the traditional boundaries of chamber music. As a result, each concert becomes a unique sonic project, and the ensemble’s repertoire spans an exceptionally wide spectrum – from masterpieces of the classical canon to works of the 20th and 21st centuries, often presented in fresh and unexpected contexts.

The name ProSonus – “for sound”, “towards sound” – is no coincidence. It reflects the ensemble’s philosophy, centered on the constant search for new sonic qualities, depth of expression and authenticity of musical communication. ProSonus Ensemble is a space for artistic freedom, experimentation and a conscious dialogue with tradition – an ensemble that continuously redefines the possibilities of chamber music and offers audiences an experience of music that is vibrant, intense and deeply personal.
